Scum is a surrealistic, music-driven, narrative feature film set in 1997 Toronto. Alienated within an elitist, orientalist fine arts world, Asian Canadian Kimberly Tan’s world is turned upside down when a stranger introduces her to the underground riot grrrl scene.
